Very quiet. The Mk3 is a very quiet printer, but after moving mine into a cabinet, it was noticeably noisier due to resonant vibrations in the cabinet. Since adding the paver & Sorbothane pads, I often have to look to confirm it's printing and I often fall asleep on the couch nearby.

@peter-c20 - I went with these feet on the printer, but used felt on those and mounted the printer on a paver slab. The slab is mounted on the Sorbothane pads. This couples the printer to the paver mass which greatly reduces vibration, but decouples the paver & printer mass from the table underneath, greatly reducing resonant vibration.
There are two files: Rigid_feet_for_MK3 and Rigid_feet_for_MK3_higher_no_felt. Which one should I use?

I just used the ones that fit my round felt pads. No need for added height.

This. I purchased sufficient Sorbothane pads to support the combined paver & printer weight according to the manufacturer's recommendations (plus some). I wound up with 9 disc feet on a 17x17 inch paver with Mk3. The Sorbothane pads do deform, but this actually levels the printer a bit if the shelf isn't perfectly flat.
I bought a pack of 8 1" Dia Sorbothane 50D. If I do it your way, does that mean I got the wrong one? From other posts, it seems that 1" 50D is good only when a concrete paver is not taken into consideration.

I went with the Sorbothane 70D 1x.25 inch pads. I've forgotten what each pad is rated for, but I know a pack of 8 was way overkill. With 50D, you're probably still well within the range that a paver+printer will weigh. You can always put more under the paver to support more weight. I recall the paver was 17lbs.

For those 3D printed feet, there are two small squares sticking out on the top. Do you just put the paver on top of the feet as is? How did you seal the paver to prevent duct from getting into the printer?

I think I bought mine at Lowe's, though any garden supply store should have them. They're just large square concrete pads for building walkways and patios. A large marble chopping board might look nicer and be a bit smaller, though more expensive.

Just to be clear: The feet go on the printer with felt pads. The printer sits atop the paver. The paver sits atop the Sorbothane pads.

Automotive filler primer to seal it, then a few coats of textured bronze finish paint. Just the same outdoor paint you can use on metal fences and grilles, nothing fancy. Lots of colors and texture options to choose from. I put some rubber paint on the bottom, but that was a waste.
