Very fast conversion of SCAD to STL with Hob3l
Hi!
To use OpenSCAD files in 3D printing, I implemented a novel technique for converting SCAD to STL that is often 100x (or even more) faster than OpenSCAD. Basically, it slices first and applies the CSG operations later.
I thought that maybe someone here might be interested, particularly because the Prusa printers are largely implemented as SCAD files. My tool is completely free and its source code is on Github, you can download, compile, and play with it:
