I have spent the afternoon testing the two beds head to head and the adhesion is similar. V4 has a finer surface.

Just a touch. Once I have one more bed. I will a comparison with prints of the 6 powder coated beds I have.

I have both v3 and v4. With v3 I could not get it to level properly even w/ 7x7 and nylon (high spots between level sets 0.19mm total variance). With v4 I have found it to be far more level (0.09mm total variance). I have found adhesion to be very similar (primarily print in PETG) and prints lift off w/o issue. I consider both to be significantly better than the smooth pei sheet in terms of adhesion and haven't had to use alcohol or clean between prints - though I have used a soft scrub sponge and warm water and soap once on each after a few dozen prints. I love the texture it produces and found when z-height is zeroed in it is very uniform. The only other difference I have found is that w/ v4 it has left visual reminents where v3 did not but it has not effected the quality of any follow-on prints. I can only imagine the quality of the Prusa PC plate...

No, but I think I'd be pissed at this point if I did and hadn't been upgraded to a piece that functions as advertised for free! In reading these threads, it sounds like King (not going to try to duplicate their spelling) has been spotty with replacements.

After one day, V4 of the King is as good or better print result as the Prusa PC. When I get more result, I will do a thread. The Matterhacker's is similar or the same as the King.

Also seems like they're not consistent with replacing defective sheets. I purchased 2 sheets and one had high and low spots and a big blemish on both sides of the sheet in the corner. I had contacted the seller through Amazon and they approved the replacement only if I paid for international shipping to mail the sheet back.

You could always try amazon's help chat if it's an issue to you; If you explain the situation and that you were yanked around by the seller they'd probably help you out - they can see your exchanges with the seller if they've gone through amazon's system.

They've been more than reasonable when I got a bum product from a seller that was past 30 days and the seller would not respond to my request for a warranty claim.
