Raspberry Pi Zero 2W (prusalink mod) = NO IP on LCD

Hello,

I followed the Prusalink guide to get the Zero properly configured after i soldered the 5 pins in their proper eyelets of the board. Used the Pi imager for the Prusalink image load and configured WiFi settings > saved > wrote to the SD. All is well there and when i turn on the port for the Prusa, i just see 'NO IP'.

My Prusa is literally like 2 feet away from my router and router logs don't show any new DHCP attempts.

I noticed the back of the pi board, the model only shows 'Rasberry Pi Zero 2' and not 2W. I checked my order for this board and it does show i ordered the 2W. Is this the problem?

RE: Raspberry Pi Zero 2W (prusalink mod) = NO IP on LCD

I don't have one, but based on photos I have seen it looks like it is normal for the back of a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W to not have the "W".  It also looks like all the "Zero 2"s are "Zero 2W"s.

Double check your settings, make sure there are no issues with your soldering.  You could also post a clear photo or two so others can double check your work.  Some of the comments at https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/prusalink-and-prusa-connect-mk3s-mk3s_221744 mention that the Zero 2W only supports 2.4GHz wifi, so make sure you are not trying to use 5GHz.  It is also apparently important to NOT set a username/password.

I would probably remove the Pi from the printer and connect a monitor (mini-HDMI) and keyboard (micro-USB) and check it out: make sure it boots, check for error message, login and check network config if possible.
