PrusaPrint and RPi zero W

Installed PrusaPrint to RPI Zero W with Etcher Utility, edited the octopi-wpa-supplicant.txt with Notepad++ for my wireless network.
With a network scanner should I be able to see the Pi even though I don't have it plugged into printer yet,  I am powering through the 5v port on the side of the Pi ?  It do not see any new network devices and my router starts them at .100 for the last ip part.

Yes, when I set mine up I wanted to test it before plugging it into the printer. I powered the PI up with the standard USB cable. It connected to my wireless network and I was able to see an IP for it in my router.

Did you uncomment the entire block and make it look like this?

## WPA/WPA2 secured
network={
ssid="Prusa Research"
psk="topsecret"
}

Did you also comment/uncomment your correct Country further down in that config file?
