Pi Zero 2 won't turn on after attaching to Einsy board
I got a new Pi Zero 2 and installed Octoprint on it. It worked perfectly and I printed couple of things by connecting it to the USB port on mk3s+. However after I soldered the pin and attached it directly to Einsy board, it wouldn't turn on after I turned the printer on. The green LED wouldn't turn on.
I made sure the RPi port is set on, and the pins are long enough. The Zero 2 still works when I turn it on with the micro USB power, it just wouldn't turn on when attaching directly to the printer. I don't know if I messed up the soldering job or I'm missing something. Could someone help me figure it out? Thanks.

I think I see your problem. It looks like you soldered the pins on the Zero on the wrong side and wrong end of the board. The back side of the board should be facing out when mounted.
See photos at https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/raspberry-pi-zero-w-preparation-and-installation_2180 and compare with what you have.
First check you haven't made a dry joint.
However:
The Pi Zero 2 needs a fraction over 5v to work reliably and it pulls a little more current than the old Pi Zero, the Einsy supplies more or less exactly 5v so there is very little headroom. You may find that a different Pi is OK Either continue with the microUSB power or consider installing a buck converter on one of the higher voltage connections.
Cheerio,

You are right, thank you. How did I make this obvious mistake? Hopefully I didn’t break the GPIO.

If you want to install it with the CPU out for better cooling I just posted a case re-design.

That's a nice design, I will consider it. Thanks.
