Octolapse while printing Prusa V2 Enclosure

Does anyone know the Octolapse settings to use while printing the V2 enclosure? I'm looking at the g-code that was provided by Prusa, and I think these are the settings I should enter into Octolapse:

  • Layer height: 0.2
  • Travel speed: 180
  • Length: 0.8
  • Lift Z: 0.6
  • Retraction speed: 35
  • Deretraction speed: 0

All of the above looks obvious, except for Lift Z. I'm assuming that one is "retract_lift" in the g-code. I hate to guess at it as I've read that getting these values wrong can result in a failed print.

@Henry,

Do you mean Octoprint?  I just used the stock settings for prusament PETG and it worked fine.  Octolapse settings are one thing I have never changed.

@cwbullet

Yes, Octolapse within Octoprint. If I understand its operation correctly, Octolapse intercepts the g-code commands and inserts additional positioning commands to put the bed and print head in known positions. Those additional positioning commands allow camera pictures to be taken. However, to do so, it must have those settings I listed above correct, otherwise it may not properly adjust the g-code and may cause a print failure. Given the length of the prints, and the failures appearing to be semi-random in a long print, I don't want to get them wrong.
