Longer MMU2S Wires?
I plan to get an MMU2S soon, and I want to mount it outside my LACK enclosure for easier access. I've read on other Prusa Forums that the wires need to be extended to reach the electronics box. I have some dupont wires but have heard that those aren't reliable and/or safe at the voltages required for the MMU2S. Is there a simple and reliable way to extend the wires? Any help would be appreciated!

I have installed AWG21 silicone wires. An interesting discussion about the MMU2 here: https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mmu2s-mmu2-hardware-firmware-and-software-help/i-found-serious-design-error-in-mmu2-electronics-hardware/

RE: Longer MMU2S Wires?
Dupond wires i would only use for experimental purposes. The problem with the MMU2 is the power supply for the logic part (voltage drop). That's why I would convect new wires with a somewhat larger diameter.

Thank you for the quick reply. What specs of wire should I get? Can I get it from Amazon?
