How to add led to mk3s+ power supply?

I have an LED light that normally runs off of four AAA batteries with a switch attached. However, they do not last long and I would like them to be powered by the printers power supply if possible. Is this something that I can do safely? Where can I connect the wires on the buddy board?

Wish I had seen this earlier.  You would need a voltage regulator or current regulator to drive the LED's.  4AAA batteries are about 6VDC.  Power supply is 24 V.  You need to lower that voltage.  A cheap switching regulator wouid do the job.

With a current regulator, you look at the LED current draw and set it to what the LED's need.  If they are in series, then about 30mA would do.
