Slic3r 1.37.1 and MMU single mode / select extruder

I just tried for the first time to change the extruder from the front panel when starting a print and found it doesn't work. Looking at the gcode, Slic3r seems to put a T? at the start. When actually starting the print it sets T0, therefore voiding any previous selection.
Frankly I have no idea how variables work in gcode or where they're stored, can this be fixed?

Nils

In G-code, the extruders are selected with the code T0, T1, T2 or T3

This command selects the extruder to be used for the commands until a different tool is selected.

Slic3r PE is the only slicer which implements the non-standard T? command and the PR MMU firmware is the only firmware which understands this.

It simply instruct the firmware to request the extruder to be used and can only sensibly appear at the start of the G-code.

Any T command within the G-code will override the currently selected extruder - and unless you are printing single filament there will always be a T command in the G-code (but maybe this is not true for Slic3r PE? - I don't know).

Ok, thanks for the clarification. If I have time, I will try what happens if I remove the second T. Maybe then it sticks with the selection.
