Hi Scott

I don't know of any other users reporting this issue at the moment, so I wonder if it is to do with your PC?

Cura lets you slice and then print directly from its interface.

Then there's the SD card or some other external solution - OctoPi/OctoPrint for example.

With regards to your PC, don't use a hub, connect the printer directly to the PC. Try closing down background tasks which may be causing Pronterface difficulties. Try turning off the anti-virus (only for a short time) to see if Pronterface work.

thanks for the advice, but my printer is directly plugged in and for the last week, it keeps trying to connect and I have to restart to connect to my printer, then once I do the print, it loses connection 👿

OK, then download Cura, slice and print a simple model with that to see if you have the same issues.

If you do have the same issues, than it's either the PC or the printer.

To determine if the printer has a problem may be quite difficult, unless you have a different PC you can try it with. I presume that you have the correct drivers installed for the printer?

K I downloaded Cura and it printed fast and never lost a connection, the problem is now thought I used these setting for Cura and my prusa i3 that I found on google here:
https://ultimaker.com/en/community/3481-cura-settings-for-prusa-i3
but the problem with the print is the model is literally so weak and thin It feels like popcorn on my hands, what's up with that?

Check your filament diameter setting. The setting you linked to have it set at 2.85 and the new printers are 1.75. Also, for PLA you can probably set your temps to 190-200 and the bed temp to 50.
