Y Carriage Heatbed issue
Hello so i am currently having issues with the heat bed not sitting in the Carriage correctly i have a picture of the issue it happens on all four sides.
And also the filament for the print fan holder is removed I am wondering would that affect anything?
Lastly one of the lcd holders is deformed as shown in picture below
I was wondering if you guys have the GCode for the holder so when i do get the printer running and calibrated i could print the holder again.

You have to push all corners down on the Y-carriage and then calibrate again. Just remember to push on the corner screws everytime you are calibrating to ensure that it is sitting on carriage.

I tried that it appears that only one or two of the screw wont fit in all the way and i dont want to break the heatbed and carriage due to force, any tips?
Members on the reprap forum say that i would need a spring in between the heatbed and carriage on the screw so i could level the bed.

Do you have a flat glass? Sometimes it may be curved, and it could be a problem.

Yes the spring would help, but you cant put screw on the bottom because there is frame underneath it . What worked for me was that I screwed all the screws out and left them just 1-2 mm sticking from bottom. It seams that the holes in the frame are not in right position or the holes in heatbed are not right. but this helped me and my prints were not having any issues then.

So if i read correctly you screwed all the screw in and left a 1-2 mm distance between the bottom of the heatbed to the top of the frame/carriage or do you mean you screwed it in till there is 1-2 mm exposed thread on the bottom side of the carriage?

sorry for confusion. 😕 I ment to say to leave 1-2 mm of threads under the calibrating wheels. So yes then they only stick into the carriage just a little so they stay in place but dont effect anything. Also dont forget to lift Z-stop a little bit so when you start calibrating you dont crash into the heatbed.

I had the same issue and ended by fixing the bed to the carriage .. maybe we missed some alignement but I did not found any reason ..

What type of screw did you decide to use?

IMHO this solution is only masking problem you have. Proper solution should be to find out reason, why you have that problem.
Maybe try new glass (in case, that yours is not completely flat - I had one non-flat glass in past) .
I had the same issue and ended by fixing the bed to the carriage .. maybe we missed some alignement but I did not found any reason ..

I wanna say the reason for this issue would be the flex in the PCB HB but I dont know how i should proceed.
I dont think its the glass, it appears to be flat.

I got similar issue, I think there is something wrong with hot bed. I adjusted the corners with a regular business card but in the center of hot bed the distance between the tip of the nozzle and bed is very tight.
I've checked the alignment and everything is ok.

Yeah I concluded it was the PCB Heatbed it had some flex to it. I resolved my issues first by grinding out the HB screw holes. this allowed all my screws to slide in with no resistance. This is when i discovered the flex in the HB PCB as one of the four screws/sides had some lift to it so i used a ziptie to secure it down then i relevel the platform and voila it works. Then i printed some belt tensioner and a fan duct for the E3D heatsink(SO there isnt any breeze caused by the heatsink fan.).

Hi, first and foremost check if the glass is completely flat. If not, contact our support thru mail or livechat and request free replacement!
If the heatbed PCB is warped a bit, take it out of the carriage and flex it a few times in both directions to relieve the stress from manufacturing.
Check if your Y axis assembly is sitting all 4 corners evenly. If not, adjust by flexing the front and back part to counteract the twisting until perfectly straight,
Springs are complete nonsense. Plane is defined by three points, be careful not to have one corner significantly higher, that would cause the bed not sitting in the Y-carriage

The issue was the glass... It wasn't flat!!!! 😮
I've changed the glass by a regular one and problem solved.

Ah Sorry for late reply i just got back from a out of state meeting. It does appear that my Glass Bed isnt flat and also the PCB has some warping to it.
Attempting to flex PCB now I will post a update if any.
Ill will contact Livechat for replacement. Thanks for the Customer support.
