X-axis Layer Shift in all prints

Hey!

I have been having this consistent problem on all my prints in the Mk2 that I built from the kit.

The printer seems to shift a bit on the x axis, you can see it in the attatched pictures.
I can't find what the problem is, however I have noticed the x-axis belt "twisting" when the x direction changes, I tried reassembling the x-axis, but nothing changed.

Do you guys have any suggedtion to get rid of the shifting?

The print in the attatched pictures was printed with PLA, and the following settings:
-Silent mode
-0.15mm layer height
-205C° extruder
-70C° bed
-wall speed: 60mm/s
-1.6mm walls
-0.8mm bottom/top

Thanks,
Franc

Check to make sure the screws holding the gear to the X axis stepper motor are tight and there's zero wiggle. I think the twisting of the belt (caused because the belt rubs against the idler) is a red herring. My printer does the same and I don't have the shifts you have.

I would try turning off silent mode.

And 60m/s is fast unless you are using Linear Advance. Are you using Linear Advance? (Which version of Firmware and is there a M900 K## in your gcode?)

And, as peter.I22 said, make sure the motor and tension on belt are tight.

Thanks for your answers!

I have been doing some tests, I think the broblem is not in the X-axis, or at least not only in the X-axis, because taking a closer look at my prints, the problem is also in y axis.
I think the right term for my problem is "Banding" (sorry, but english is not my mother tongue haha)

Peter.l22:
I checked all the screws and took a look at the whole printer, I noticed that the metal frame was too low, so much that it was toching the desk where I have the printer and it was causing a lot of vibration, I solved that, and there is a lot less vibration, and the banding got better, but it is still not good.
Belts and screws are tight, but the bed seems to wiggle just a little bit, but I would say it is normal to have a bit of tolerance?

aaron.s5:
I tried high power mode, but the problem persists.
As for the Linear advance, I had no idea this existed until now, I have FW 3.1.0 so I whould be able to make use of this. I use Cura for slicing, I checked the gcode and there isn't M900 K##, apparently, in Cura it has to be done manually, I will try and let you guys know how it goes.

I add some more pictures in case they are useful.

Thanks a lot for your help!!

It is actually normal to see some slight differences in the outer wall depending on whether you've got infill, a thick wall, or a thin wall on the other side. That's because the toolpath will be slightly different.

I'd suggest setting the slicer to print perimeters first. That should minimize the effect.

Agree. Perimeters first, and slow perimeters down to 40m/s.
