Tightening the pulley screw

I have been having trouble with the pulley that pulls the filament into the print nozzle coming loose. The motor shaft has a flat side that this screw must be tightened against. The problem is that the only way I can find to make the motor spin is to unload or load filament. This makes the motor shaft spin a set number of times and the flat side is always either straight up or straight down. I cant seem to find a good way to tighten this screw as the tools do not fit into this small space. Is there a way to make the motor rotate manually so that I can stop it at a different point where the flat side is facing one of the larger openings? I could take the motor off and fix it but Im afraid it will not be lined up correctly if I do it that way.

Re: Tightening the pulley screw

when you "disable steppers" or switch off the printer, you should be able to rotate the axis by hand (or with a rubber band loop).

Thank you!
I ended up slipping the straight end of a hex wrench in there as it was slowly moving at the end of the "load filament" but I was afraid I might cause some damage if I wasnt fast enough. Next time I will give your suggestion a try.
