Just to update (I'm the OP)
Mine was totally wedged in from the factory. It wasn't PLA glue, the thermistor ceartridge was an extremely tight fit as the hot end was provided originally.
How did I solve this?
Couldn't knock it out with a hammer and punch, even after heating the hot end
In the end I had to DRILL out the thermistor cartridge. That got the bastard thing out.
looks like a QA issue from Prusia. God knows what they used to fit this thing. Should never had been such a tight fit.
