Testing Rear Fan

Hi,

i'm trying to print the Morgan Bridge test and i know it requires cooling.
I suppose the rear fan should start spinning when printer start making bridges ( Bridges Fan Speed is setted to 100% in Slic3r ) but it's not working.

I tryed to use Pronterface to connect to the printer and send "M106 P1 S255" gcode command but is not working.

Does it mean that the fan is no proper connected to the board??

Thank you for your help.

Re: Testing Rear Fan

Hi

Make sure the print fan connector (Black and Red wires with a small red heat shrink) is attached to the FAN2 outlet on the RAMBo with the red cable closer to the processor and the black cable to the heater connectors.

If you want to test the fan, connect it to a 9 volt battery.

The fan should not be used when printing ABS,

Peter
