Replacement P.I.N.D.A nut?

Hi everyone, newby here.

I've just built my first i3 mk2 and the first few prints (Adalinda and gear bearing) and they printed beautifully, but since then I have had a couple issues which I think are being caused by my PINDA not being properly aligned.

I managed to lose the lower nut to hold the PINDA in place during the build, so does anyone know where I can get a replacement? Or what nut it is?

Thanks 😀
Gus.

Hi Gus

Yes, that would be a problem...

I believe the nut is regular M8, 12mm across flats and 3mm thick. I guess it would be possible to print one, if you had a working printer... 😮

I was going to suggest using the black M8 nuts in the spares bag, but I have tested with a broken probe and the M8 nuts will not fit. I guess the threads are a different pitch.

Yeah, there are 2 pitches for M8; the probe is 1.0mm, the rods are probably coarse @ 1.25mm.

I printed M3 nuts when I needed some. They worked just fine.
