pla leaking over hot end

Recently changed to a 0.25 nozzle. Now the pla is dripping over the top of the hot end down to my prints this https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-wD0zCusJAucXA1MXhMazl0c0E/view?usp=sharing
i can't tighten it any more as the wires will not allow it. Will I need to remove the whole thing to tighten the heater block? As well i noticed my nozzle setting was 0.4mm would this make a difference as well? Thanks for any help

Re: pla leaking over hot end

💡 when pla leaks over the nozzle, then the heatbreak and the nozzle haven't "kissed" inside the heatblock.
if you only unscrew the old nozzle and apply a new nozzle the whole system might leak.

➡ check thomas sanlanderers video on how to change a nozzle.

you're right, think this might have been my problem, https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-wD0zCusJAuSElJTEFwQzVKcVU/view?usp=sharing
looks like the 0.25 thread portion was shorter than the original nozzle thread. Where is this specified when you buy a new nozzle?
