Need help with new printer

Hello,
This is my first post on the forum and I would like to get help.
So a recently I managed to get an i3 plus assembled. However, it would not work .

Initially, when I first assembled the printer there was a max temp error but the printer would still turn on.
I ended up making a mistake by switching power cables for the extruder and heat bed cables which I fixed right after after customer support told me how. After that, the person from the support checked if everything was wired correctly after sending a picture of my rambo board and the connections.

However, the main problem comes now when now I try to turn on the printer , it doesn't show any life at all(int the lcd or the extruder parts). I know that the PSU is still alive (green led inside lighting up) and I set it to the right power setting.I and customer support are am stumped on what to do.
.
Could anyone help me here my printer not turning on?
Note:It's my first 3d printer and my first time building one.

Propably blown fuse on rambo or PSU.

Yeah, check the fuses, but not sure it's that; one fuse is for all the electronics, so the LCD should still operate if the light is on in the RAMBo.

Post a picture of the 2 ribbon cables connected to the RAMBo.

I did manage to fix the problems with fuses . However, now I'm getting a problem where when I try to calibrate using auto home, the y-axis keeps going backwards

Hi!

Y-axis going backwards?

1. Do you mean that it goes in the wrong direction(away from the endstop)?
2. Or - do you mean that it keeps moving even after it hits the endstop?

Solution for 1 -> Check that the connector of the Y-axis is inserted in the socket in the right direction(compare with the colors of the cable with other axis).

Solution for 2 -> Check the endstop that the carriage hits the switch on the endstop. You can also press the switch before the carriage reaches the endstop and see if it stops.
