is there any (structural) reason for Y-PSY-Part?
Hy, I re-built the MK2S without the Y-PSU part on the YRod because mine had the holes in such a way that I had to force the bolts and it would pull the ZPlate towards the back introducing unnecessary tension and screwing up ZPlate perpendicularity with the bed.
I need to know if there is any (and I don't see one whatsoever) reason why the PSU can't be screwed to the ZPlate alone, without the Y-PSU part? Is it supposed to prevent the ZPlate to tremble and wobble?

Thanks.
Re: is there any (structural) reason for Y-PSY-Part?
Hello Florin!
The part didn't exist in mk1 version (2015) and my machine is quite good without it. It is probably used to get rid of some bending of the z-axis when the heated bed moves fast. You can try bending the z-axis by grabbing the z-frame by hand at top and push/pull gently in the y-axis direction. This small bending is what the part is supposed to diminish. If you will print tall objects, then there may be some layers that get shifted by a small amount if this part is missing.
