grub screw fell out. little help

working on a print and a grub screw is sitting on the bed, where did it come from?

i started going through the online manuals but i can't figure out where it came from. the grub is still in the extruder motor from what i can tell.

is there a grub in the extruder bottom? i cannot find any assemblying information on the E3D V6 Full hotend itself

Yes that's the grub screw holding the hotend thermistor, most probably.
When you put it back on, don't tighten it too much or you risk damaging the thermistor body.
