Groove on my right rod and noise. Gone with PTFE. Am I safe?

Hello all,

A groove has appeared on my right side rod (looking at the printer's extruder). To be clear, it is the one that has two ball bearings that connect it to the hotbed.
The Y axis also made a (to my ears) significant grinding noise.

I cleaned the rods, applied lithium PTFE grease on it and now it has been working for quite a while, without significant noise or any other issue I can perceive.

At the time I emailed support l and got no answer. Since the problem went away I totally forgot about it.

I now realise I may have received no answer because I purchased the kit version of the MK2S which does not entitle me to email support, so I am asking you here if I should worry about it or not. Am I safe in continuing to use the "damaged"rod or should I seek a replacement?

Thanks for reading.

As requested, I added pictures and a couple of videos.
A correction: the rod with the groove is the one where there is a single ball bearing connecting rod and hotbed.

To put a groove like that in a hardened rod means your bearing probably failed too. I'd replace the bearing and the rod, it will only get worse.
