Gigantic bloob of plastic PLA

I left my printer printing for 3h and when I came back it was like this

Please help, I don't know what to do and I'm reaching my mental sanity limit 🙁
I burned down the hair dryyer already and lighter is not the best solution

💡 you'll find a few of these pictures here at the forum.

advice will always be to use a hot air gun, heat up the stuff GENTLY and start to peel the pla off from the blob. maybe you can carefully use a sharp knife to do so.

never use a lighter, never use an open flame !
if you heat up the pla to much, you can get an opposite effect with hardening it.

pla has is vicat temperature at about 54°C, so above that temperature you should be able to start peeling the stuff off from the extruder. take care not to do more damage as there is already.

Do you can advise in a solvent solution for this problem PLA. Maybe acetone for a longer period of time. It's in threads sensor and heater holes also on both sensor and heater.

The only solvent I know of which works with PLA is Chloroform; not readily available...
