Heyho, here are my first results and my quick and dirty spool holder solution of stuff I had lying around (will definitely be upgraded 😉 )
Next Step: Printing the chest in higher detail...

Nice job. Yes, you should tighten up the nozzle (when hot) otherwise you will end up with something like your day3 print...
Those prints look very small; you may have to print several of them at the same time to get a great finish (basically increase the layer time to allow sufficient cooling).

Regarding improvements, I saw 2 quite interesting things on youtube by Tech2C, namely a bowden extruder system (which I would not like to implement if not necessary, though he says it brings major improvements) and some kind of "z-wobble-reducer setup". So before I do hardcore tinkering like that - do you think it is worth it?

Yes, I have seen his videos. Firstly, Bowden extruders do have some advantages, but in my opinion, the disadvantages far outweigh them.
The biggest problem is that ideally, you need the extruder drive as close as possible to the heater block. The further away it is, then the more flexibility you introduce into the system. This is most noticeable with flex filaments, but also affects regular plastics.
Secondly and with regard to the 2 z-axis nuts, well for most, this is a somewhat pointless "improvement". Generally, this would only be required with a low quality or poorly built printer (note that Tech2C does not have a Prisa "original", only a clone).
There are many better improvements out there, some of which Josef is looking at incorporating, but for most the quality and speeds produced by this excellent printer is sufficient for most.
Unless you have a really good reason, I would strongly recommend spending your time printing and not tweaking...

Hey, yes that sounds convincing! Thanks again for the fast and helpful feedback, having such a forum was one of the reasons I chose this printer! (Apart from good manual and of course quality hardware)
