Hello everyone
i have a prusa i3 hephestos Direct extruder for 1.75 mm filament with 0.4mm nozzle.
and i have a ed3 lite6 24v direct extruder is there a mount for this or can i use the mount that came with the prusa??can i use a 24v on a 12v power supply.

Hi John

Firstly, this forum is primarily for the Prusa i3 "original"; very few of us here have much experience with clones.

There are printable parts available on this site here: http://www.prusa3d.com/prusa-i3-printable-parts/ Some of those parts are for mounting the extruder which you may be able to adopt for your own use.

With regard to a 24V heater, if you are running a 12V system, then it would be best to replace the heater cartridge - you will need a standard 12V 30 cartridge like this one: http://e3d-online.com/Electrical/Components/Heater-Cartridge-12v-30w
