Building Instruction inconsistacies

I know that consistency is said to be the hobgoblin of little minds but when it comes to instructions I beg to differ. The online instructions make no mention of the PSU-Y part and therefor no pictures. The hard copy does have info on the part. Which do I use? I guessed wrong. I went with the hard copy instructions and now said PSU-Y part is interfering with the installation of the power supply. Also the instructions give two different distances for the spacing of the locking nuts on the Y-axis. One says 80mm the other 100mm. Which is correct. My questions are 1) since my kit included a PSU-Y part do I use it or not and where does it go (the pictures in the manual are no help). and 2) what should the spacing be between the locked nuts and the corner bracket on the Y-axis. Assistance would be much appreciated. 😉

Re: Building Instruction inconsistacies

Hi David,

Are you using the right assembly manual ? Because the PSU-Y part is clearly mentionned here: http://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/2.+Y-axis+assembly/104

If you refer to this assembly manual http://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/2.+Y+axis/40 it's the one for the Prusa Plus, aka the mk1 !

I'm like Jon Snow, I know nothing.
