Blob damage

So, I managed to print my fist PLA Blob. I left my printer unwatched for about three hours before I found this hideus creature attached to my print head. I managed to remove it by raising the temp to 230 and jiggle it loose. Now my question is, which parts do I dare NOT to replace? any suggestions would be appreciated.

RE: Blob damage

I would try heating the extruder to ASA temperatures and putting a piece of kitchen roll on the heatbed,
with luck a lot of the PLA will melt and dribble off, then you should be able to wipe most of the remaining plastic with a piece of kitchen roll
