Re: Are all 5 stepper motors the same?
Spot on minus I ordered 300mm on the leadscrews ggrrrr. Should have measured 🙄 I guess I will need to put the bracket down if I ever need to use them in the future or will that pull my Z calibration off?
If you need any tech specs let me know. These are exactly the ones from the MK2 minus the wrong size leadscrew 😳
where did you order these from? i've been looking for hours!

Ben
Print bottom brackets which lift the motos upwards (been there already...)
Peter
Hi Peter would you care to share the brackets that will lift the z motors? Thanks! Would that affect the z axis being able to lower all the way?
Re: Are all 5 stepper motors the same?
About the 300mm lead screw motor:
If you raise em up - what is a doable way cause they have some Z travel which they never use at the bottom - why just simply drill new holes 25mm up from the original mounting holes ?
That way you can use the original mounting brackets and can still use the 300mm lead screw steppers.
And btw. I´ve seen some with 324mm lead screw too - those should be a drop in replacement:

Re: Are all 5 stepper motors the same?
The question is if it is a good idea to buy steppers eotj 1.5 A and more because the Rambo ensy for example needs 5A for all motors
Re: Are all 5 stepper motors the same?
The stepper motors are probably one of the last things that would fail on a 3D printer unless the wires are physically damaged. I have some much larger steppers on a CNC router that have been running for years and have never had a failure. They are typically designed with a safe operating temperature up to around 100C. The ones in a 3D printer are running WAY below the limit.
