I have made some improvements and wanted to share with you guys.
40mm fan upgrade. this was the biggest improvement on noise.
Vibration dampers. This was the second biggest improvement on reducing noise. No need to mod the stepper motors with the unreliable dampers.
Y Axis bearings replaced with Drylins. It was as big improvement as the vibration dampers.
X Axis bearings replaced with Drylins. This axis was noisy also.
Z Axis bearings replaced with Drylins. Z axis is moving so slow while printing and was not noisy at all but just replaced them too 😀

I have one of the 40mm Noctua fans coming in the mail today.
And I also installed the astrosyn dampers on the X and Y motors.
The X/Y dampers had a pretty significant impact on the noise but it certainly isn't a quiet machine yet.
I think the 30mm e3d fan is the loudest thing at the moment so replacing that should help a lot.
How much of an impact did the dampers under the frame make from stock?
I wonder if it is worth making a set of those if I am already using the stepper mounted dampers.
And for the noctua fan how did you end up wiring in into the machine?
I don't know how long of a cable it comes with but I don't imagine it would reach the rambo

Great well done. I run my Genuine Prusa I3 in default low power mode. So quiet my wife does not complain about the noise when I run an overnight print. I always get great prints. My wife sleeps well. I do shut the door on my printer room, the same floor as our bedrooms.

Right now I am using the printer with all the stock bearings.
I already had them dampers as extras from another printer I use them on.
They drop into the stock x axis end motor mount.
But the Y motor mount needs to be reprinted to this one to have the correct mounting points.

I just finished printing a set of the printed dampers for the frame corners so I will see how much they help.
And yes, my mk2 is sitting on top of a Markforged Onyx One.
I am tight on space in my room at the moment so they have to share until I get a shelf built to hold them.

Have you tried the printer in the four possible different configurations of dampers (i.e. no dampers at all, stepper dampers only, feet dampers only, stepper + feet dampers) and if so, how would you rate the noise reduction amount of each damper type?
I can see that you have the latest version of the mk2 feet dampers but I think you're using them slightly incorrectly. I'm pretty sure you're meant to install them with the felt mk2 felt pads stuck to the bottom of the printed feet dampers, not the mk2 printed corners. If you had the previous feet dampers then you would do as you've done here.

I have run the machine in it's stock setup which was way too annoying for me since it is in my bedroom.
Then I installed the Astrosyn dampers which made a very significant difference.
The loudest thing now is probably the 30mm hot end fan.
But the machine is still much louder than my duplicator 6 with the astrosyn dampers installed on it.
I printed out the under frame dampers yesterday and set the machine on them.
I did not end up printing anything last night so I don't know if they improved it anymore.
And yeah I think you are right about the felt pads.
After I printed them I just threw them under there to see how they fit.
I am going to build a shelf to hold both of my printers this afternoon.
So once I finally have a good solid place to put the printer I will probably transfer the felt pads.
After I get the machine all settled into it's new home I may try it without the astrosyn dampers to compare.
I am also planning on sort of building an enclosure around it on the shelf for the times when I print ABS.
But the filament and dry box for my Onyx One comes in today so I may get sidetracked playing with that machine.

This is the remix that I have created. Print results are same. Did not see any degradation. I have an issue about some small dents and has recently posted about this issue to ask for forum users help. It was occuring before and It is not related with the dumpers. Don't think the dents are related with the bearings also. I am working on in.

Those dampers on the steppers are known as they have a negative effect on the prints. But I did not tested my self so can not say anything about them.
But with the mods that I have made there is no need to put those motor dampers on.
The noisest thing in my setup is the other filament cooling fan in the front and the R2D2 style robotic sound that my RAMBO board produces.
If you sleep in the same room with the printer, IMO nothing will be silent enough.
Now the noise of my MK2 is below than any other regular desktop printer from HP 🙂

Noctua fan installation is easy but a little bit tricky because of the screws that you will need for the fan mount. I have lots of different screws in stock for this kind of needs so I handled it. 3mm stock fans stock screws will be used for mounting the adapter to the extruder frame.
Wiring is the easiest because all you have to do is soldering red and black wires as the 3mm stock fan connected.
You have the cut the wires of 3mm fand and solder noctua.
And the noise is so decreased that it definetely worth this upgrade.
The dampers on the Z frame(orange ones) is the ones that I have designed and uploaded to thingiverse. IMO these dampers improves stabilty of the printer. Otherwise 1kg filament and all the metal Z frame will be flying in the air and forcing the Y rods to keep it stable.
