Warping 1/2 through a print

I'm using my i3 MK2S for printing engineering parts for a project mainly with Polymaker's PC-Max. But first I always print a prototype part out of PLA and fit up before before moving to the expensive materials. This helps me work out the bugs of the print and design issues.

My problem is this. The fine edges or tips of my prints are curling up when using PLA! This has never happened before, I have beautiful first layer adhesion, the print is cruising along fine, then after about 1cm of material has been laid down the fine tips of my print start curling up.

First I printed it with a raft and supports (thought I needed it) but for some reason it was worse. The second and third time without a raft or supports was much better. Excellent quality print everywhere but the fine edges and tips.

Really not sure what to do here and have put it out to the wider group for support. Photos below.

Re: Warping 1/2 through a print

which slicer are you using ?

reduce the number of perimeters (to 2 or 3) and turn down the bridge flow ratio (to approx. 0.95).
this should help.

dem inscheniör is' nix zu schwör...
