Slicer for MK2S and/or MK3 can't see the image
Hi. I've got a couple projects I can't get to slice correctly. The problem is that I am sure the files are manifold, but when I go to slice them, I get these huge chunks missing. I'll put a couple pictures below showing the 3D image in Slic3r, and the Preview.
What could possibly be going on? The other project is a brick with lettering. Again, it's manifold. But the preview shows floating letters. It seems like I should be able to print a rectangle.

It's on thingiverse. Search for welchomatic or E S Lowe chess set.
I've printed dozens of these for family. Today everything I own is acting up.

I gave up on fixing the slic3r issue and decided to rebuild the STL files. That must have been where the problem was, because now I'm getting complete prints in preview.
I guess that despite all my manifold checks there must have still been holes somewhere.

The file king_115mm_noPedestal.stl slices for me with Slic3r v1.39.1 (Mac version) without any problems. Also sliced without problems on Windows & Linux with v1.39.1
