Slic3r - allign face to the build plate
I have searched the web and Google, but cannot find the answer. So, i suppose, it is not implemented? Do I have to export model from my modeling tool already on 0 Z with right face down?
Re: Slic3r - allign face to the build plate
The object doesn't have to be at 0 Z, Slic3r will move it up or down as necessary.
You can also rotate your object however you want from the menu.
If you need more sophistication, it's a better idea to use a mesh editor or your modeling tool.

What I think he is looking for is the Place Surface on Bed that Simplify 3D has. It is quite handy but it doesn't exist in Slic3r.
Re: Slic3r - allign face to the build plate
There is a Slic3r issue to implement this, but the day has only 24 hours.

Also the upcoming Prusa Control will have it.

Implemented in Slic3rPE 1.41.
