Simplify3D settings
If you want to try out Simplify3D i made settings for it.
Just PLA now, let me know how well does it work for you 😉
For installation just use File –> Import FFF settings

I've always had some issues with blobs at the beginning and end of lines with Simplify3D, so I hope this will help with that.
Do you have any directions regarding "Retraction" and "Nozzle Wipe" settings for ABS?

These worked great! Printed the T-Rex skull at 25% scale with these and it came out great - much better than the default settings. Thank you!

Hi I am thinking about order simply3d software. I am using slic3r at the moment. In general I think slic3r has some high poly object issues.
Has anyone some experience here with simplify3d?

The PLA settings are working very well for me so far. I hope you'll soon be adding Simplify3D settings for PETG, NinjaFlex, etc. etc.

The PLA settings work quite well thanks for posting those.
Would love to see some settings for ABS and Ninjaflex.

Just bought the program and looks very easy to use with plenty of options and great previews.
PLA setting seem to work well but I noticed the cooler for the object stays on after completing the print.
Something special needed for .05 mm or can we just decrease the layer height and create a PLA EXTRA DETAIL profile?

look at first post, there is updated version of settings "simplify3D_18_12_2015.zip" (there is updated script to turn of print fan after print is finished). Or you can add "M107 ; turn off fan" line to Ending script tab.

Just wanted to say thank to roman.t for posting the latest 2 ABS settings files. They work quite well so far.

I am glad if it helped somebody. I am testing bridges setting now, so far 80% extrusion multiplier and 100% speed works OK for things I printed recently (3D printer parts). These settings are not included in those setting files (you can set it on "Other" tab).

Thanks for the Bridge setting. It has helped make the Bridges a bit cleaner.
One tweak I have made was to set the "Outline Overlap" to 22%. The solid layers are much nicer now.
