Help for slicer

He people,
i'm designing a gasket for a vintage car but seems that slic2cr does not accept something. The object is manifold, all seems to be ok but there are differences between the object and the preview.
Could someone help me in understanding where is the problem ? and of course how to solve it ?

Thanks a lot

Massimo

PS: How can i upload the file ?

Re: Help for slicer

Hi. Have you designed this in mm

Using inches can cause problems.

Difficult to say without seeing the file you're trying to slice.

PS: How can i upload the file ?

Below the window where you type your post, click the tab labeled "Attachments" then the button labeled "Add files". I'm not sure what the limit on file size is.

I've sliced lots of files made with Rhino without any problems.

Re: Help for slicer

Hi Massimo... is there supposed to be a hole in the middle?

if not, the middle may be too thin

can you zip the STL and post it here please?

Re: Help for slicer

He,
solved, i redesigned all. Seems that rhino does not accept solids merged at the some level. i set the base (the center of the object, 0.5 mm small than the border and it works
Thanks to all for supporting me 🙂
