heated bed and nozzle settings do not match sliced file

Hello All-

My first post and my first printer so thanks in advance for your patience. Printer build was fun and print quality is terrific.

Using both Slic3r and Cura I have sliced files and gone to print the gcode files from the SD card. The printer is not connected by USB. Firmware is up to date.

I have changed the heated bed settings to 65 and the nozzle settings to 225 in both softwares and exported gcode, but when i start print from SD card the settings default to 55 and 215 and I have to go into Tune and increase.

All other settings added in software such as rafts are printed correctly. What am I missing?

Many thanks!

💡
usually you've two different pairs of temperatures for hotend and bed: one for the first layer and the second for all other layers.
in slic3r you can find these pairs at the filament settings. don't know where you'll find it in cura (i'm normally using simply3d).

or do you mean that you've set the temperatures at the i3MK2's controls ?
these settings are going to be overwritten as soon as the printer processes a line inside the gcode where M104 or M109 sets the hotend temperature and M140 or M190 sets the printbed temperature.

dem inscheniör is' nix zu schwör...
