Failed Prints-heatbed issue?

I have been using my MK3 for about 2 years.  I have had wonderful prints up until about 3 months ago when my prints started to fail.  At first the prints were coming off the bed at random time, sometimes at the beginning sometime in the middle.  I looked on the forum and I followed some of the posts, cleaning the build plate with dawn and even purchasing a new Powder-coated Spring Steel Sheet.  I did the calibration multiple times, tested and adjusted the P.I.N.D.A. and did the first layer calibration over and over. (.725)   It seemed to work for one print here or there but now about 90% of my print fail, they mostly break free after a few layers and either get stuck to the print nozzle or I get a spaghetti monster.  I have tried raising and lowering the bed and print temp.  It looks like there are hot spots? on the bed as when I try and print something like a large square, the ends start to curl up.  Any ideas?  Does the heatbed need to be replaced after a while?     Firmware is 3.8.1 and the printer says 5635.52 meters and total print time 151 days.

I would try taking the build plate, to the sink, and wash it with hot water and dish detergent, rinse with hot water,

then dry it with a plain paper towel,

then put it back handling it by the edges, and if you are using PLA, try a higher temperature on the heatbed.

Hello Joan, I have done that a few times with no real change, but thanks for the suggestion.  😊

Clean bed with dish soap, then it will stick better.

Ten make the first layer 100%, this will improve sticking. How to,

Then small object will release sometimes, then as extra make a big brim attach to model, whit 6 or 8 lines.(footprint to bed is bigger).

Big flat parts can warp, here also make a big brim.

Hello Peter, thank you for the reply but I have tried all of that.  I have cleaned the bed, bought a new bed, cleaned it, checked the first layers, ran calibration.....  I am using the same g-code that use to work perfectly, now the jobs fail over and over.  I think this is beyond cleaning the bed.

I tried to print a simple flat object and the edges curled up.  I was reading about PID calibration so I ran it a few times.  In all the tests the temp goes above +5 to 217 or 218 and in a few of the tests I get a thermal runaway error.  Does this mean that the heat form the hotend is affecting the print job by causing too much heat to hit the object?
