Under-extruding problem

THE PROBLEM:

I've been having this issue for a couple of days now and even with all the tips I could find online I haven't been able to influence this glitch at all.

I've tried:
- tweaking live Z adjust
- changing the pressure on extruder gears
- older/newer firmware
- very low speeds (20 mm/s)
- different filaments/spools (ABS/PLA)
- turning the printer on/off and pulling the plug
- different models
- cleaning nozzle with needle
- heating the nozzle up to 280°C

I haven't tried:
- disassembling the extruder to check if the "throat" of the extruder is okay
- pretty much disassembling anything

Ideas are welcomed. Thanks!

Re: Under-extruding problem

Did you try adjusting your extrusion multiplier? Didn't see it on your list.

Re: Under-extruding problem

Watch the temp on the hot end as it prints. How much is it changing? And what are the range? Also try increasing extrusion temp to 220.

This problem seems to be more common here recently...

Hi, I'm Sean. I used to work on CNC machines.
I try to not make mistakes, but the decision is YOURS.
Please feel free to donate to my filament/maintance fund.
