That is an interesting photo with IR. Anything heated will warp and expand and the only way to expand uniformly is uniform heat. The challenge of a heated bed sitting inside a 0.05 mm tolerance is steep. If the first bed isn't within 0.1mm it is probably going to give issues like warping , lifting etc .

Their Email response time has sucked since I started with prusa but I did learn how to avoid being shunted off t o them for warranty replacements when I had problems with an intermittent Pinda... as soon as the chat person made noises about going to email I asked for a chat supervisor and politely asked him to expedite the replacement explaining my previous problems with email response times ... it is worth considering if it comes up again ... Prusa recently said that they have shipped over 100,000 printers (don't know if that is all their i3 production dating back to the MK1 or if that is the number of MK3 printers that they have sold but either way that is a lot for a company that started out so small not that long ago. the challenges of growth from a small shop to a major manufacturer must be huge. I did contract software work with Apple Computer starting in 1978 and back then Steve Jobs was sometimes answering the phone when I called... they had fewer than 20 employees at that time... this kind of explosive growth has killed a lot of promising companies that did not make the transition... from what I can see as a customer Prusa has by and large gotten past the organizational hump... Th fact that they provide such good chat support in english is in itself amazing.
