Well its not here "yet".. ❓

It's here, just a little too sensitive and prone to false alarms. It's turned off by default but you can turn it back on in the Tune menu.

Thats filament runout detection, not the same thing.

Looking at the code, it should in theory work the same whether there is a jam or a runout... Have you tried "manually jamming" the filament to see if it works?

Thats filament runout detection, not the same thing.

It is actually the same thing. The optical sensor is looking for movement in the filament, and triggers a pause when it doesn't see movement when movement is expected. That can be caused by either a jam or runout.

Have any of you been to the FB prusa group and see how many jams there are? and no it does not work, try it yourself.
