Prusa i3 MK3 3D printer Fails Fine Tuning First Layer
new printer, been working fine for several days.
today while printing a simple enough object, a glob of PLA formed around the print head and eventually, the whole mess tore the object being printed loose from the bed.
removed the glob.
have run through full calibration and run into the "glob" issue again while performing the Fine Tuning First Layer process.
it prints all of the zig zag rectangles well enough BUT then at the end when it prints the small filled in square, the PLA globs up around the print head.
I am hoping that someone will help by responding with a possible fix, something that I am doing incorrectly, or something that I should be doing.
HELP
Re: Prusa i3 MK3 3D printer Fails Fine Tuning First Layer
Found the answer. My interpretation of the manual that accompanies the printer suggested to me that I could NOT vary the fine tuning by more than 50 microns. So, I never tried anything greater until I set the fine tuning "Z" value to 0.382. No More globs
