Electronics are rated to 50C, the motors are rated to 70C, and unless you're actively heating the enclosure, I've never seen anyone report an ambient temperature in their enclosure above 45C.

So don't bother moving anything outside the enclosure, except potentially the LCD (simply for convenience).

FIrst fine tune printer using PLA, as you will enconter many problems.
For print ABS you will need a steady temperature inside the enclosure, 50ºc with active heating and a controller for it. It also depend on your ambient temperature on your room... Otherwise tall objects will print bad and crack
If you will print 24/7 ABS i recommend to take out electronics from inside, 50ºc will not make any good to them and will wear overtime, also PSU have no active cooling...

I've put my plans for an enclosure on hold until I find out the dimensions of the new MMU 2.0 upgrade. Like the original MMU I have concerns how much vibration the MMU puts on the vertical Z axis is it?
My thought is to provide a crossbar below the inside the top of the enclosure and mount it just above the MK3.

I am waiting for my printer until i get the front door on... but will share mine as well. here is where i'm at.... I am doing to look at some fan controllers and thermostats for the electronics. A quick chat with support the suggest not to run the electronics over 40C\104F.

Put PSU out of enclosure is easy, electronics other way are very hard since there are to many cables... Put a fan on motherboard can help, but renember if you put active heating inside, you are pushing ambient temperature into it eg.50ºc, and it can't hit the print area or it can affect the quality of the print, on thingverse there are a version of the ensy holder with a slot for a fan. Also the wire mess inside the MB enclosure will not help the airflow.
Place electronics out is not impossible, you can just run all wires under the wood or make a hole for it. The main problem with that is if you need to move the printer you need to unplug everything which is a pain. So the best bet is a fan: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2718553

If you have the time you can try to rewire everything and just run a single cable that holds all signals, a crazy ideia but would work

I don’t plan on active heating as I have a smaller printrbot that does fine with an enclosure only.... I’ll print the cover for the ensey box.

Nice! I also am building a wooden enclosure. I will post about when it is done - might take days, might take weeks:-)
