Head keep crashing into bed

I printed something before bed, turned it off, woke up this morning, turned it on and doesn't work. I started with an auto home which crashed hard into the bed, bending the frog and motors kept on grinding so hit reset. I ran calibrate Z which did the same thing. Seems like Pinda is not picking up anything. I looked at Support/Voltages and bed reads 0.1V, but it heats fine. Any ideas?

The firmware is buggy. I saw the same early on but babysat my MK3 last night on some abs prints that turned out beautiful...it's a shame that the reliability is gone. 😥

Sometimes the machine will heat up and home and do nothing but show progress % on the LCD. My best success has been in a heated enclosure... ❓

I got it to come back to life by going through a full heating cycle. I guess that woke up the pinda probe. Bed still show 0.1V, but I am up and printing again. This printer is very frustrating. Sad I sold my mk2s. That thing just printed. always.

This sucks. I posted about various issues that I have been reading about the MK3 here and was just starting to feel good about the MK3 again when I read this post. Hearing things like "the reliability is gone" and then referencing the MK2S as being the version that "just printed" seems to confirm that there is still work to be done by Prusa before this printer lives up to its name.

In an attempt to now actually be helpful, have you tried adjusting the pinda up or down? I think I remember reading a few posts of people having problems that were resolved when they shifted the position if the probe .
