Re: Fail stats all 255 even after factory reset
Is it causing a problem? May just be a weird reset value. Start a print, cause a power loss, and see if it rolls over to 0.
Re: Fail stats all 255 even after factory reset
Had the same thing. I caused a collision just to watch the shifted layer detection and it jumped then from 255 to 1
Re: Fail stats all 255 even after factory reset
Firmware is still quite buggy...
My printer just restarts itself when I start the PID calibration.

Mine did that during the setup wizzard...
Re: Fail stats all 255 even after factory reset
I was able to get the Power failures and Crash detected numbers to rollover to 0 by intentionally causing those problems to happen. (Neat!)
But Filament fails remains at 255 no matter now many times I cut the filament and let it run out during a print. Perhaps it only increments on non-recoverable filament failures like a jam?
Re: Fail stats all 255 even after factory reset
Looking through the firmware, it seems the entire eeprom on a new board is filled with 0xFF (255 decimal), I'm guessing they forgot to add code that sets these counters to 0 to the reset function.

Ooops, I'll forward it to the dews 🙂
