Significant Vertical Extension

I am printing on a Prusa MK3S. Besides acquiring longer threaded rod and sliders, water jet cutting a taller frame and then drilling and tapping the necessary holes. Is there anything else required for extending the print height by probably 200mm at most 400mm (In addition to the current 210 mm)? Realistically we need at least 400mm vertical. Any further  we would have to worry about vibration on a long part and bending of rods.  I've seen ( https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-mk3-improvements-archive/30-more-build-volume-26-cm-build-height-working/) but want to get a little more out of it.
Right now we are using a Fortus 400 MC for printing 75 mm wide 225 mm tall hybrid rocket fuel matrixes in ABS but we want to reduce costs and be able to print them on the weekends when the campus facilities are closed. We are limited by height which for this year's grain is 225 mm but this will probably need to be extend to 400 mm by next year and we want to be ready for that. Also we are considering switching to poly-propylene but that is another topic.  Currently we are using my Prusa to make parts for the airframe and payload so it is still getting a lot of use, but I want to upgrade the vertical travel prior to building a proper enclosure.

I didn't want a CR-10 because of filament choices for future part production and tolerance requirements for most of what I print. Below is a picture of the fuel element and of the engine firing because I don't want to leave anyone hanging that read through this and is interested. The inside of the grain is detailed but I don't want to reveal anything significant prior to publication of a paper.

yes I was going to buy plate steel and cut it to try to make essentially the same frame as the stock printer, I like this commercial kit with the 80/20 aluminum strut but i didn't want to mess too much with the original design. Also with ought it might be cheaper to make it myself. This looks like a good back up plan.  I was more wondering about what else would be involved other than the hardware in terms of modifying firmware.

thanks

You'll likely also need to rewire and extend the extruder wires or at least relocate them on the einsy case (e.g. out the back, and move the einsy case up) so that you have enough reach to move it the entire range.
