per-filament gcode to adjust z offset

I've noticed that with ABS, I need to adjust my z offset to -0.380, with most of my PLA it's -0.285, and with some other PLA it's -0.305.

Would be great to see a slic3r extension to specify this per filament type and have the printer auto-adjust.

Have you tried changing the flow per filament? You can do that in slicer and it may take care of the issue.

You can specify an additional Z-offset in the printer settings.

Why not to implement such function? It would be pretty useful with Mk2. All we need is to provide additional custom setting for given material in slic3r and one another G-code command to set LiveZ during printing.
I dont have access to newest firmware sources, looks like they're not pushed to github, but I'd like to contribute such code...
