Heated bed temperature not constant

Could anyone please help me with the following problem?

The heatbed of my Prusa does not have a constant temperature and seems to have problems reaching 110 degrees C.

I attached a file with 2 temperature graphs of Octoprint:

- The bed is insulated
- There is no draft
- The bed did reach 110 (even 115) before and stayed constant
- I use Octoprint on a Raspberry Pi

Please help

Re: Heated bed temperature not constant

Hi Wilfred

Can you please check the heater connections on the RAMBo. You need to ensure they are screwed in very tightly and the connector needs to be pushed firmly home.

Whilst you have the connector out of the socket, check both connector and socket to ensure that there is no sing of any plastic starting to melt.

Ensure that the connectors are clean - insert and remove the connector two or three times.

If the temperature has been OK previously, what has changed? If it's nothing to do with the connectors, then something else is causing this.

Peter

EDIT: Also check the thermistor under the bed is properly attached. Make sure the cables from the hot bed are routed correctly and that they haven't been caught bu the Y Axis movement.

Thank you. The problem was indeed a screw of the connector which wasn't tight enough (anymore). After tightening the screws of the connector, the heatbed functions normal again.
