Wood Filament stringing on external perimiters
I'm printing Groot with hatchbox Woddfill PLA at 215c using High Detail settings and it is pretty stringy stuff.
I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on how I could reduce the stringiness especially on his face so I dont have to do more post processing then necessary?
Disregard the layer shift in his head. There was a momentary power drop that resulted in the layer shift. Going to have to re print this one anyway.

Well I for one thinks it looks pretty good as is.
But I suppose you could try reducing the temp a little (but beware of blockages), slow down perimeter speed, lower your retraction length and set z lift to zero and see how you go.
Or even try a 0.5 nozzle.

I can’t remember what settings I used for this one, I wiped out my settings while upgrading the slicer. When I get done with my current print jobs I’ll go back in and figure it out again. Here is how mine turned out.

Pretty sure that one was Tianse, but I also had a roll of Hatchbox at that time. The hatchbox prints a lot lighter color, but I can’t tell for sure in that pick which one it was.
