Using Prusa slicer
I have always used Simplify 3D for my slicer which has been good but I wanted to give Prusa slicer a go as there is a lot more settings on it. As you can see by the photo I have a big stringing problem. Its brand new filament and I'm using a Prusa i3 MK3, PTEG filament on 250 degree hot end. Could anyone suggest any settings that would improve this?

Looks like a wet filament problem. PETG if not kept dry will do exactly what your print shows. The rest of your print looks OK. If it is brand new it could have been exposed to some moisture or not stored in a dry container.

Not the filament as I printed same part using Simplify 3d, just need to know what setting needs changing in slicer 2.5?

Try reducing your print temp by 10-15 degrees. This ‘shouldn’t’ make a difference from one slicer to another but I typically print PETG at far lower temps than 250 with little stringing and good inter-layer adhesion.
You may want to print a temp tower to help identify the optimal temp range for your material using PrusaSlicer.

I assume you printed the Simplify 3D version first and then, without drying, the Prusa Slicer one. If you try the first one again I expect it too will string, probably worse.
I'm with @pcnukem, that filament has absorbed moisture while exposed, it only takes a few hours when humidity is high.

In that case, assuming you are using default profiles, your temperature settings are suspect. Now I see you are at 250 degrees, too much for most PETG, try 230.
