Thanks in advance for you help.

Hello Community,

I like to print a muff out of TPE (Overture High Speed TPU). I startet with the standard Parameters from the Prusa Slicr. As you can see at the attached photo there are some quality issues on the Overhang.

In a second trail I reduced the Print speed to 25mm/s and increased the cooling to 80%. The quality of the overhang improved a little but was still not satisfactory.

In a 3rd trail I reduced the Print speed to 20mm/s and increased the cooling to 90%. Here the quality of the overhang improved compared to the 2nd trail but from my point of view there is still room for improvement. By reducing the print speed an increasing the cooling the general surface quality of the part gets worse.

What is the reason for the print problems of the overhang (Overhang is 30°)? It is necessary to adjust the angle of the overhang? Are there other parameters I have to adjust to solve the issues with the overhang? What do I need to do to solve the print problems with the overhang and achive a good part surface quality?

Thanks in advance for you help.

TPEs are less tolerant of overhangs than other filaments but 30° from vertical should work.

Save your project as a .3mf file

Files > Save Project as

Zip the .3mf and post it here. It will contain both your part and your settings for us to diagnose.
