Slic3r Settings

Having a problem with my prints, recently installed a 1mm nozzle, and for the most part it seems to print ok.
slic3r seems to be putting this gap between the start and end of a loop.
it is made very obvious when I set the seam position to 'rear'

what setting could i change to fix this?

Re: Slic3r Settings

I think I'd try alternative settings to "rear". I'm not sure where "aligned" puts the seams, but if there's a way to align them on a corner (rather than the middle of a side) it might be easier/less noticeable to sand the nubs off in post-processing. YMMV.

Hi Craig,

Never used a nozzle that big!...
How about turning the model 45degrees so that there is a corner at the rear!?

Try Nearest and it'll try to out the seam in corners. Z-seam handling is a weak spot in Slic3r. Cura has a lot of hiding options. KISSlicer has a lot of tuning options. You can never eliminate them, but you can hide them in corners.
